Ingredients needed for Easter Candy Blondies.

See below for all the details on what you'll need to make the full recipe.

    • Easter Candy - I like to use Cadbury Creme Eggs and Chocolate Eggs
    • Butter - Melt the butter and let it cool to room temperature.
    • Brown Sugar - Keeps the blondies nice and moist.
    • Granulated Sugar - Gives the blondies a chewy texture.

Directions For Making Easter Candy Blondies

    1. Prepare.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, prepare an 8x8-inch pan with parchment, and set to the side.

    2. Make the blondies.

Combine the cooled melted butter, sugars, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Mix to combine.

    3. Add in dry ingredients.

Add in flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix until combined and there are no streaks in the batter.

    4. Add in candy.

Fold in the chocolate eggs using a rubber spatula.

    5. Bake the blondies.

Spread the batter out in the prepared pan. Add in the creme eggs and any extra chocolate eggs to the top of the batter. Bake the blondies for 30-40 minutes until the edges are golden brown and pulling away from the pan.

    6. Cool.

Let the blondies fully cool in the pan before cutting.

    Serving Suggestions

As the name suggests, these Easter Candy Blondies are the perfect treat to serve on Easter. They are also great any time of the year. They are great with an Easter brunch or perfect to close out an Easter dinner.

    Make Ahead and Storage

    • Make Ahead: The blondies can easily be made ahead of time. Store them in an airtight container for 1-2 days before serving.
    • To Store: Store any extra blondies in an airtight container for 3-5 days after making.
    • To Freeze: Extra blondies can be kept in the freezer for 2-3 months. It is best to store them in wrapped individual servings.

    Tips and Variations

    • Easter Candy - Can't find chocolate eggs or don't like them? Swap them out with M&Ms or chocolate chips.
    • Bake Time - Blondies can overcook quickly in the oven. Keep them in the oven until golden and start to pull slightly from the edge of the pan.
    • Mix-ins - You can add other mix-ins to the batter if you want something more than chocolate. Add dried fruit, nuts, or white chocolate chips to up the flavor.
